Mike Robort is just like any other man. He wakes up, goes to work, eats at his fave burger joint, and then comes home to a large, green-and-brown frog that makes its home under his bed.
“Sure, it seems weird,” Mike says. “But Froggy’s a cool dude. We have beers on Wednesday night while listening to death metal. It’s a great way to unwind.” Thanks to Angel Mathers, we were able to identify the frog an Atlantic coast leopard frog. Froggy seems mild-mannered, and let me pet his head with the tip of my index finger. It is currently unknow how this frog appeared, or how it’s lived so long.
Not even Mike, Froggy’s closest friend knows. “When I was six, I woke up to him croaking. And it’s been that way every night for the last thirty years. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.” It’s certainly a heartwarming tale of Human and amphibian friendship that one won’t forget soon.
